Christmas and Other Holiday Quilts

Some Christmas and other Holiday quilts and crafts I have made.

Made this for a raffle, and I liked it so much, I made another one for myself.

I made this Advent calendar for my mother-in-law. Each stocking is appliqued by hand, and open at the top to put candycanes inside.

My daughter fell in love with this cheater panel fabric and requested the pillow and wall hanging below.

A cheater panel wall hanging for my daughter.

My mother-in-law won our quilt group's December block raffle and got these blocks.  I pieced the blocks and a friend did the quilting and machine embroidery around the edges.

In senior year at my daughters' high school they had to use math and make an ornament for their math class.  Both chose to make little quilt ornaments.  They chose the pattern, did the measurements to make it miniature, chose the fabrics, and cut them out, and I sewed it together. This is my oldest daughter's ornament.

This is my youngest daughter's ornament for her high school math class.  She chose the pattern, did the measurements to make it smaller, the fabrics and cut them out, I sewed them together.

My oldest daughter wanted coasters to match her pillow and wall hanging.

The Halloween Boo Banner, from a book called Seasonal Quilting.

My fall table runner, from a  Mt. Redoubt design.  I have made this table runner several times, with various sized blocks and different fabrics.

My youngest daughter's Halloween table-topper.  The first time I've used bias tape as a design element.  From a book called Celtic Knot Quilting.

An Irish chain table-topper, made for my mother-in-law.  All the fabrics have shamrocks on them, and I embroidered a gridded shamrock in the center.  Sorry for the poor quality of the photo.

A Mt. Redoubt design, but made with smaller blocks.  The fabrics are Victorian Christmas fabrics.
